Cooperating Agreement For Building The LNG Terminal

On 20th August 2009, in the headquarters of Polskie LNG in Szczecin, a cooperation agreement was signed between Polskie LNG Sp. z o.o., Gaz-System S.A., an Operator of Industrial Gas Pipelines, Maritime Office of Szczecin and the Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority.

On behalf of the Ports Authority, the agreement was signed by Jarosław Siergiej.
The event attracted also other members of board, including Władysław Lisewski and Paweł Adamarek.
The agreement provides for close cooperation between signatories, leading to opening of the LNG terminal situated in the external port of Świnoujście on 30th June 2014.
To meet the deadline, each party has to implement their part of the contract with the utmost diligence and according to specific terms. It is also necessary to develop good cooperation between contractors. Heads of the companies involved undertook to ensure such cooperation.
- Preparation will start in the middle of 2010 with dredging. We depend on the progress made by the Maritime Office, and thus close cooperation between the parties will be indispensable, Chairman Jarosław Siergiej during the event.
- The Signatories of the agreement are like the four musketeers: ‘one for all, all for one‘. When it comes to such an important investment, nothing is more or less important. To succeed all tasks should enjoy equal treatment. We have just faced a very challenging but realistic project, said the chairman of the Seaports Authority.
