R&D Projects

Szczecin and Swinoujscie Seaports Authority is involved in EU projects and development of maritime economy, transport corridors and solutions that can be deployed at sea ports. Up till now the Ports Authority participated in several projects:

  • Landbridge,
  • Baltic Gateway,
  • Baltic Gateway Plus,
  • InMor,
  • InterBaltic,
  • LogVAS,
  • New Hansa,
  • Sustainable Development of Baltic Cities and Ports,
  • PORT-NET,
  • SoNoRa - South North Axis,
  • The Ports Authority was also a partner in the project "Feasibility study on LNG infrastructure in Northern Europe", coordinated by the Danish maritime administration,
  • It also participated in a two-year training project called "Increasing the skills of workers engaged in operating ports - a chance for development of the region". It was implemented under the Human Capital Operational Programme, Measure 8.1.1 Support the development of professional skills and consultancy for companies, which is financed by the European Union under the European Social Fund.
