Szczecin and Swinoujscie Seaports Authority provides management for two ports – one in Szczecin and the other in Swinoujscie, both creating one of the largest port complexes at the Baltic Sea.

The ports play a primary role in the Polish maritime economy, as well as they are the closest ports for the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Eastern Germany, in particular the regions of Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg.

Both ports are situated along the shortest route linking Scandinavia with Central and Southern Europe, and along the Baltic maritime route linking Russia and Finland with Western Europe.

One of the advantages of the ports is an excellent connection with Berlin via the inland waterway network, and further with the European river waterway system.

Szczecin and Swinoujscie are universal seaports and offer comprehensive operating of bulk and general cargo, as well as passengers and means of transport.

Regular services cover traffic from Szczecin and Swinoujscie to Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Lithuania, Great Britain, Germany, West Africa and China.
