Location:
Land of about 14 ha situated in the northern part of the Katowicki Peninsula; borders the Parnica River from the north, Regalica quay facilities from the south, Regalica River from the east, and Clowa Street and facilities at the Katowickie Quay from the west.
Quay:
- Gliwickie Quay of 260 m and draught 9.15 m,
- Chorzowskie Quay of 289 m and draught 9.15 m,
- Katowickie Quay of 440 m and draught 9.15 m.
The development plan stipulates the construction of the following quays:
- Dabrowieckie of 240 m and technical depth 10.5 m
- Dabrowieckie barge quay of 80 m and technical depth 5.5 m,
- Strengthening facilities in the north-east part of the peninsula.
Current status:
- Improvement of undeveloped land in the northern part in progress.
The development plan for the Katowickie Peninsula provides for hydrotechnical infrastructure and improved land with utilities of about 14 ha. It is an opportunity for investors interested in building transhipment and storage terminals for liquid bulk cargo, solid bulk and general cargo. The first stage of development will modernise and widen Clowa Street. The land is designated to creating supporting facilities for the Katowickie Quay.
