Safety and protection in the port is one of the priorities of Szczecin and Swinoujscie Seaports Authority SA. The group of ports in compliance with IMO requirements introduced procedures of the ISPS code and received appropriate certification.

The safety of ship traffic on the Szczecin-Swinoujscie waterway is assured by Radar with Vehicle Traffic Management Systems (VTMS) . This task is accomplished by continuous coordination of ship traffic moving on the waterway by means of gathering, verifying, organising and distributing information.
