A modern and ecological boiler house will be built at the Ferry Terminal in Świnoujście this year. The Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority and Przedsiębiorstwo GRAMET Sławomir Gray from Luboń have just signed a contract in this matter.
A new boiler room will be built in the "A" warehouse, the rooms of which will be appropriately adapted and rebuilt for this purpose. The external form of the object will not change.
The boiler room will be equipped with two gas stoves operating in a cascade with a rated power of 660 kW each. Low-temperature cast iron boilers are designed. The boilers will be equipped with modulating, fully automatic gas fan burners, consisting of an electronic burner automat with a diagnostic function and an axial fan with a three-phase electric fan motor.
The investment task entitled: "Reconstruction and change of use of the warehouse space into a gas boiler room in the warehouse building" A "of the Ferry Terminal in Świnoujście", will be performed as part of the expansion and modernization of the technical infrastructure in the ports of Szczecin and Świnoujście. *
The selected contractor has seven months to complete all the works from the date of concluding the contract. The investment cost is almost PLN 1.5 million.
* "Expansion and modernization of technical infrastructure in the ports of Szczecin and Świnoujście" is an investment of ZMPSiŚ, which will optimize the consumption of energy carriers, improve the situation in the field of environmental protection and adapt both ports in this respect to the applicable standards and regulations. For this purpose, the following will be extended and modernized: water supply network, sanitary sewage system, rainwater sewage system, power supply, teletechnical network, fire water network and land drainage system.
Currently, the Port Authority is in the process of settling the tender for the contractor. Four companies applied.
