Cooperation with the Port of Rotterdam

The Ports of Szczecin-Świnoujście, Poland, and the Port of Rotterdam, the Netherlands, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Rotterdam. The document was singed in the presence of Andrzej Duda, the President of the Republic of Poland.

Memorandum of Understanding with Port of Rotterdam

On Wednesday, 30th of October will be signed Memorandum of Understanding between the port of Rotterdam and the Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority. The initiative is non-commercial and concerns cooperation in such areas as inland navigation and shortsea.

The meeting with the voivode

On Tuesday, October 22, 2019, the president of board, Krzysztof Urbaś met with the voivode of the West Pomerania, Tomasz Hinc. 

The 7th International Maritime Congress

On 5 and 6 September this year, in Szczecin, the 7th International Maritime congress was held, which attracted 600 attendees from all over the world. The Congress is one of major events for the maritime sector. Attendees included ministers responsible for the sector, as well as transport, infrastructure and development. The Congress also attracted leaders of international companies and maritime sector organizations, including ports and shipyards, as well as representatives of education and administration.

We are at the trade fair in Munich

We are at the "Transport and Logistics" trade fair in Munich! Together with the Port of Gdynia and the Port of Gdansk under the common name POLISH PORTS.

Positive balance of Q1 2019 cargo handling

Q1 2019 cargo handling in the Szczecin and Świnoujście seaports was 8% higher than in the corresponding period of last year. so far, both ports have handled 7,328.4 thou. tons, which is 520.6 thou. tons more than in the same period last year.

The new industrial service

The Norwegian based shipping line Sea-Cargo, have started from April 5th an Industrial service between Swinoujscie, Esbjerg and the West Coast of Norway.

The ports have received an award of “The One Who Changes the Polish Industry”

Strategic Polish seaports have received an award of “The One Who Changes the Polish Industry”. The award was presented on 27th February this year in Warsaw during an official gala that concluded the 21st Changing Polish Industry Forum. The award was handed over to the Minister Marek Gróbarczyk and presidents of seaports, including Dariusz Słaboszewski, the President of Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority.

Record high cargo handling in 2018 – summary

The Szczecin-Świnoujście Port Complex noted unprecedented cargo handing volumes in 2018. Cargo handled in the two ports that year exceeded 28.6 m tons. This translates into an increase of 12.5% comparing to 2017.
