Invitation to workshop, 2nd International Maritime Congress

‘Oder as a factor stimulating economic development in neighbouring regions at the international level’ is the topic of the workshop accompanying the 2nd International maritime Congress. The workshop chaired by the Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority and Council of Szczecin Seaport Stakeholders will be held in the meeting room of the Senate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics, West Pomeranian University of Technology, at no. 19 Piastów Street, on 12 June.

Investment, engineering effort and further full integration of parties interested are the main factors determining the use of the economic potential of the Oder River. Local governments, associations, clusters, civil servants at different levels, media and a large group of supporters and friends of restoring inland waterway shipping on the Oder River in Poland will meet during the workshop to discuss regulating Oder and restoring its inland shipping capacity.

The organizers hope that the group of experts will jointly define new opportunities for implementing this important task for regions in western Poland.
Participation is free of charge.
