ZMPSiŚ with the award of Corporate Social Responsibility 2021

The Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority SA received the Corporate Social Responsibility award for the second year in a row. In this category, out of 19 nominees, the company took first place in the plebiscite of the Entrepreneur of Western Pomerania of the Year 2021 organized by the Northern Chamber of Commerce in Szczecin associating entrepreneurs of Western Pomerania. On behalf of ZMPSiŚ SA, the award was collected by Daniel Stachiewicz, vice-president for economic and financial affairs.

The company received a distinction for contributing to environmental protection, helping hospitals fighting the coronavirus pandemic and supporting a number of social initiatives implemented in accordance with the principles of corporate social responsibility.

As a reminder, ZMPSiŚ SA, fulfilling the role of corporate social responsibility, engaged in helping medical services in the fight against coronavirus in 2020 and 2021. He provided financial support, thanks to which new medical equipment was purchased.

In addition, in 2021, the Company implemented a sponsorship plan with support from sports clubs, cultural initiatives and projects undertaken by schools and local communities. The educational program "Days of the port at school", popularizing knowledge about the maritime economy, was also continued. In 2021, ZMPSiŚ SA was awarded the title of "Equal company" by economists from the University of Szczecin for its activities in the area of ​​CSR.

The company Zarząd Morskich Portów Szczecin i Świnoujście SA, as the manager of port properties owned by the State Treasury, is of great economic importance in the region. It is a leader in terms of completed and ongoing investments aimed at the modernization of port infrastructure, which contributes to the facilitation of economic activity for port companies operating in ports. He is a large and stable employer. It initiates a number of economic projects, supports local business and is involved in social projects.
