About business in the region
The Baltic Economic Congress was held in Szczecin. The meeting at the Polish Theatre in Szczecin, organised by the Northern Chamber of Commerce, attracted representatives of various industries from the region and Poland. The Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority is a partner of this event.
"Szczecin, the offshore capital of Poland" - this is the topic of one of several discussion panels during the congress, and Piotr Krahel, head of the Port Strategy and Development Office at the Seaports Authority, was among the participants. Conclusions? Our region has everything it takes to be a leader in the offshore sector - there is wind, water and... a good business climate. - The first installation terminal for offshore wind farms on our coast will be ready for investors at the beginning of the year - declared Piotr Krahel. - At the same time, we are already applying for funding for the second stage of this project - he added.
